In 2021, I finished my Theoretical Physics Master by writing a thesis on Granular Matter, with both a part theory, and a part computer simulations. I created the simulation in C, and I made many suboptimal choices during my time programming it. I always wanted to revisit it, to see what I could make if I did write it more optimally (read: if the simulation goes faster).

What it is

A short explanation of the project in plain terms.

Why I made it

The motivation — what question you were trying to answer, or what problem you were solving.

How it works

The interesting technical or creative details. As much or as little as you want.

What I learned

Anything worth passing on.
